Hello Busy Bees!
On Sunday’s I am going to be doing a weekly blog post called Sunday Shout Out! In it, I am going to highlight an up and coming event planner, DIY’er, or other person of note who you should be paying attention to.
This is to represent how excited I got doing research for this post! Like really, I had so much fun Hubs had to pry away the computer at like 2am.
Whether they have great recipes, amazing ideas, or share important knowledge on the subjects of design and event planning, I think this will be a good way for all of us Busy Bees to stay in the loop and keep fresh with our designs.
For our first Sunday Shout Out, I want to tell you all about (Drum Roll Please…) The Makeover Mom!
She is AMAZING and her ideas on organization, professionalism, and creativity are hard to match! Her blog is by the same name and you can check it out here!
After binge watching both her Youtube channel and pouring over the contents of her blog, it’s a safe bet to say this girl got her act together! From awesome decor, to lifestyle videos as a mom of 2, she makes it happen with time to spare!
Here are some of my favorite posts and videos by The Makeover Mom:
- 2 Hours and 20$ to Plan a Party! ( I think this is what my worst nightmares consist of, but she did it flawlessly!)
- Becoming an Event Planner: How Much to Invest? (Such great information for newbie event planners!)
- The Ultimate List of Party Themes for Girls: (Amazing guide to keep for girl’s birthdays!)
Please Check Out Her Out! And no, before you ask this post is not sponsored. The Makeover Mom has no idea I’m even writing this post. I just think too often new talent is not recognized and credit should be given where credit is due.
That is the goal behind The Sunday Shout Out! Let’s share a little love and help our guys and gals in the trenches of the design + event planning get some time in the spotlight.
If you have someone you would like to recommend for a Sunday Shout Out post, please leave a comment below! I would love to check them out and give them the recognition they deserve.
